After a tremendously busy year, I am bustling in the studio creating new works for South Coast Artist Open Studios.

It’s that time of year again and Hurricane Flo has sent us rains and a beautiful sunset. The beehives are battened down and the bees are kicking the drones out.
What an adventure. We started with three hives in the mid-April and we now have seven. I will be attending an apiatherapy conference in late October as I am interested in the medicinal properties of bee byproducts especially propolis.
I have been busy painting all summer.

It has been a busy autumn and winter. I have been painting but not posting as much as I would like. Today there is a blizzard in New England so I am working on a larger painting on aquabord. And as always I take commissions. Especially popular are requests for paintings to celebrate the birth of a new baby, sea creature paintings and wedding place cards.

I haven’t been posting in awhile so it is time to catch up! It has been a very busy winter. I had a knee replacement October 26th. I am happy to say it feels great and I am thrilled to be out of pain. I have been busy making sketches and preparing for summer open studios (if you can imagine that).

Today is the day. I am getting my right knee replaced at Brigham an Women’s Faulkner Hospital in Boston. I am feeling positive and ready to get this done. I had a trial run last Monday but was sent home 30 minutes before surgery. I look forward to dancing and doing so much more once I get past the hard work of recovering. If you are reading this, I hope that you will send me positive and healing energy. It always helps to have the collective energy of those around. Thank you for following my blog!
