I have been working on a few pieces, taking time out from each to let them sit before I continue to work on them. I haven’t finished any recently as I have been moving in between them but thought I would post part of a 9″ by 12″ work on aqua board.
Thanks to all who signed up for my blog. I have a winner from the last 20 blog followers. It is a lovely woman who bought my photo through Etsy. Well that is a nice surprise.
I love seeing the April daffodils and the early white forsythia blooming in our yard.
Happy Monday to all.
There is such a sweetness about your bunny character. It makes me feel happy to look at him and his furry friend. I can feel their optimistic and friendly personalities conveyed in their stance and expressions.
Notice the creature to the lower left….sort of a person with extra to go around….for those who need it but not to approachable.
Congrats for the purchase. Keep on painting. Always fun to see your work! And question: is Etsy a good place to be?

Your paintings are so cheerful and each time I look at them they make me smile. Enjoying your blog post and am so very grateful to have met you while you were visiting your sister!
Thanks Melissa,
So pleased you are following my blog. And more pleased that my paintings make you smile. That is one of the things that makes me happiest about my work. Chris is back in North Carolina as of yesterday. She went back to upstate NY as my mom was not feeling well but things are back on track now.
Love the colors and imagination you show in this piece. So fun!
The bigger piece is rather full of curious foliage.
Thanks for sharing… bunnies are just perfect – in April and every month!
Thanks.
I enjoy your close-up shots! Such interesting and fun little subjects.
Cathy sometimes I think I should cut up my work into tiny pieces. I often really like parts of my paintings.
Such a sweet bunny…
Thanks Susan……I think of him as having happy thoughts giving flowers to the elephant.
