I created this image for the Tiverton Land Trust Land and Sea Gala coming up July 31st! It is a truly special event and a very worthy cause to support. Carmen Grinkis is chairing this event and she has done a fabulous job. The art auction is not to be missed, and the menu a veritable feast!
This painting was sold to a big patron of the arts and I feel truly blessed to know that it will be enjoyed and appreciated for it’s unique style and humor. Also a huge thank you to South Coast Artists for making this weekend an incredible event…11 years strong and I was graced with so many visitors and buyers that I am a bit overwhelmed. Open studios is such an amazing event with about 70 artists displaying their work in their studios and homes. The second round is coming up the 3rd weekend in August and I am busy making companion pieces for my sea series (Mr. Lobster is making an appearing in most of them).
