Well 30 days has passed and I started 2 paintings yesterday that I am going to turn into encaustics. I certainly think I would have gotten the award for the most variety in media on this challenge. A lot of this was experimentation for me as what I normally do takes several days to complete. The collage was made by a cool program called picmonkey.
Now I am turning back to working on my Rousseau like paintings that I will be needing for an exhibition. I usually complete a painting in a week.
Happy Ground Hog Day and happy birthday to my dear friend Patricia Barr who is working in chilly Fairbanks, Alaska!
Beautiful!
Thanks Margaret and thanks for the pictures of animal tiles. I love new references for my work. I print them out and keep them in a folder for inspiration.
Nice work! I had a close look through the collage so I could tell you which my very favorite piece was, but I have about a dozen very favorite pieces. 🙂
Thanks Julia. I personally like the paintings where I am putting creatures in jungle like landscapes. So glad you took a look.
You have taught me a lot as you went through your experiments this month. Some beautiful work but I really admire you having a growth spurt in public. I miss you!
I can certainly say I am not static!
I can certainly say I am not static.
Love them all! Well done, Susan!
Thanks. Now to bigger things. You work looked great at the Newport Art Museum.
