Barely Mozart was drawn while attending a Mozart Series at the Boston Symphony. As you can see James Levine is sitting in his chair. I love this painting and wish I had a better photo of it but it is already framed with the barely clothes ladies enjoying the concert.
Susan Medyn’s work has also been described as “Fantasy Worlds in mythical landscapes populated by mythical creatures.”

Susan Medyn first started working in watercolors when she was dating her spouse, David Formanek, who was obtaining an MFA at the time. He frequently spent late nights at his studio and Medyn began making her fantastical watercolors inspired by her work with children and her love of the narrative.
