Egg Case

Egg Case  $25

6″ x 6″ Watercolor

I have been ill with bronchitis and laryngitis and haven’t been able to paint. I did this small work of a sponge and seaweed that I found after a recent storm.

The sponge had egg cases attached to it. They had already frozen and started to become concave, but it was interesting to see how life goes on even in the cold under waters of the Atlantic in New England.

Here is a photo where you can see the egg cases.IMG_9508

  1. Hope you feel better soon! I’ve been battling a cold myself, and my colds these days always go to my ears…very irritating!

Looking forward to seeing more of your work when you are on the mend.
