I do wonder what it would be like to move like a snail and carry my house on my back. Simplifying seems a good way to go. So cheers to the small but mighty snail.

Plantation! This can be seen at Galerie La Spirale in Liege, Belgium.
This is the loveliest snail I’ve ever met, Susan! Delightful – as are all of your imaginative characters and creatures!
Hail the mighty snail! Love it! Wonderful compositon…always such a whimsical story.
Love this Susan! Your spotted background makes me think of all the rain we are getting today (So. Cal.) and that is when the snails come out. Such interesting little creatures, snails… Hail! Hail!
Different! It looks like your creatures are growing, going places! Love it! <3
I have one of Susan’s snail paintings and it is lovely.
I LOVE snails……they take life slowly and live simply. You’ve captured the essence of that so well!! This is wonderful……..
You really got me pondering what it would feel like to carry my house on my back. In the end I opt for wheels and pulling the house. What freedom that would be to travel to see you and your paintings in person and then keep on going, with all comfort coming along, to see and paint our wonderful world!
I don’t think I would enjoy moving about with my house on my back… but I do love your snail painting. I’ve been away from blogging too long, and have missed your work. Merry Christmas, Susan!
