What can I say. I am taking a wonderful oil painting class with Kelley MacDonald who is such a great teacher. Today was value painting. Kelley knows so much, it is a gift to be learning from her. I have never painted in oils so post this tentatively. I did like my creamer before I quickly put in the background. Will have to touch it up to get the right shadows.
It is fabulous to learn so new things. I have always painted in watercolors. I hope at some point to make my creature and jungle paintings in oils.

Thank you Libby. It is a regular and drop in class Saturday’s 10-1PM. A few people drop in who are expert painters like you who just come to challenge themselves or paint in a group. But thank you. I am so new to oils….only my 2nd painting…so, wow, you made my day!
